Description General Assistant required for Garden Centre. This role will cover all areas of customer sales and service, whilst maintaining a high level of merchandising standards. The role will include both moving and lifting stock. Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience within a similar environment, preferably with good plant knowledge, though this can be developed should the candidate show an interest and willingness to learn. The candidate will have to be able to work within a team as well as on own, provide good customer service, be able to operate tills, assist with planning displays and promotions, manage stock levels and keep the shop area clean and tidy.
